ANNUAL SUPPORT CAMPAIGN
The YMCA serves people from all economic backgrounds and walks of life. We provide a safe haven for children and teens during those hard to fill after school hours. We give parents peace of mind at work knowing that their child is in a warm and loving environment. We teach children to swim, provide mentoring opportunities for youth and teens and offer over 200 recreational programs for individuals and families.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Membership and program fees do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs. The YMCA will never turn anyone away due to an inability to pay and it depends on the generosity of members and friends to make this possible. The donations you make enable us to continue to help your community through the life-changing programs of the YMCA.
Last year, the Harrisburg Area YMCA touched 8,316 with $1,945,492 in financial assistance
and program subsidy.
